SIggy Block

Got the inspiration to do this from Julie of Jaybird Quilt who organised the 2nd siggy block swap. Since I did not make it to the deadline to participate....was thinking heck...can just do this without a swap for the fun of it....Furthermore this is a simple construction that is quick to finish ...*although it took me sometime to finish due to work and all*

The combination is the fatal lime green and pink...since I could not get grey at my local shop....but I think it made quite a match.....here are some pics to share

This is a test block....it was no longer a test when I have cut all the strips...hehehe

These are some of the blocks already done up.....see the pattern of the colour combination that I used?

This is one of the arrangements that I managed to come up with

This is the second possible arrangement for the siggy block....This will do up nicely a baby quilt or lap quilt with the amount of blocks that I have

The blocks are constructed using
1. 1m of background - natural
2. 4 fat quarters - pink, green, mixed colors of green and mixed colours of pink n green

Blocks yield = 108 blocks
